Dr. Jonathan O. Nwanagu
Dr. Nwanagu is a graduate of the University of Nigeria, College of Medicine. He completed his obstetrical and gynecological training at Emory University, College of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 2011, Dr. Nwanagu started Sandhills OBGYN Associates, PA with a mission to provide complete and total women’s health care in a caring and compassionate way, using the latest technological advances. He is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, Dr. Nwanagu served as the past chairman of the Department of Obstetrics/Gynecology at Palmetto Baptist Hospital (now Prisma Health). He is also an Assistant Professor in the OB/GYN department at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Nwanagu and his wife have two children. When Dr. Nwanagu is not practicing medicine, he enjoys autocross racing, playing soccer, and spending time with his family.
Courtney M. Hillen, M.S.N., C.N.M.
Courtney graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She then earned her Master of Science in nursing degree with a specialty in nurse midwifery from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Courtney is nationally certified through the American Midwifery Certification Board. She has practiced in the Columbia area for the past twelve years, providing exceptional obstetrical and gynecological care to women. She enjoys taking care of women throughout the lifespan.
As a certified nurse-midwife, Courtney provides pregnancy and gynecological care to women of all ages.
Courtney and her husband have three children. When she is not at work, she enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her family.
